Ijoukak Berber village is the largest settlement on the road between Asni and Taroudannt. . The place has necessary amenities for visitors, since Tin Mal is so close.

Tin Mal is counted as being among the most important historical sites of Morocco. Here is found the spiritual home of Ibn Toumert, who came to be the founder of the Almohad dynasty in the 12th century.

Drive from Marrakesh or Ouirgane to the Marigha traditional salt mines that are still in use. Continue driving past the Ouirgane dam and the N’Fiss Gorge. You will also pass several villages that have a Tuesday market.

Once you reach the N’Fiss river valley, you'll start the hike to the villages of Ait Berihi, Imawnan, and to Tin Mal, followed by a visit to the 12th century mosque. Enjoy lunch at a local Berber family’s home in Ijoukak. Then, it'ss back to Ouirgane or Marrakesh
