This itinerary will give you an opportunity to Discover a real berber life culture traditional and heritage,

At 4,167m, Mount Toubkal (4167m) is Moroccos highest mountain. This challenging summit takes courage and dedication but once summited, the panoramic view from the top makes all the hard work worth while!
Once Mount Toubkal is under your belt, you will be driven on to discover the surreal but stunning landscape of the Sahara. Here you will pass through old fortified villages and Berber castles, know as Kasbahs. The Sahara region is undoubtedly the most diverse in its landscape and tastes as you will discover...


Day 1: Upon reaching Imlil you will begin heading along the Mizane Valley.

Here you will pass through the small village of Aremd and then onto the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. Eastward bound you will cross floodplains where you take a mule track up onto the higher cliffs. Once crossing the river you will have an oppotunity to take a short break to inspect an ancient pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, which attracts tourists and pilgrims. Snaking slowing upwards you carry on with your ascent, reaching the snowline and Toubkal Refuge. This will be your accommadation for the night. pprox. 4 to 5hrs walking.

Day 2: Starting early, you will begin your ascent of Jebel Toukbal, the highest peak in Northern Africa.

Following the track up onto the South Cirque you will cross a small stream located above the refuge. From here the walking is relatively straightforward, but the scree and the altitude will make the going quite difficult in parts. However, as always the views and landscape will make up for any doubts you may be feeling and as always you will have breaks! Once you have reached the the summit you will see for yourselves why the journey became worthwhile as the landscape and views are purely breathtaking. From the summit you will have a 360 degree view of a huge part of Morocco, with Marrakech plain to one side leading to the Anti-   .      

Atlas and the Sahara in the other direction. After photos you will retrace your steps back down the mountain and back into lmlil where you will spend the night in a local guesthouse.

Day 3: Once you have taken breakfast you will begin your drive to the Sahara.

You will firstly cross the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass of the High Atlas mountains. Passing through many Berber Villages along the way you will have a chance to view riverside oasis and barren hillsides that are clustered with Kasbahs. After lunch you will drive further to Valley of the Roses, with beautiful views of the Dades valley and the valley of a thousand kasbahs. You will stay overnight in Dades.

Day 4: After breakfast you will be taken to Todra Gorge,

this stunning gorge creates the perfect oppotunity for pictures and recording memories of your trip. After this stop you will head onwards to 'Auberge du Sud' at the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day 5: On the fifth day on your trip you have the oppotunity to relax and enjoy a day off in the shadow of the beautiful surrouding dunes of Erg Chebbi.

 In the afternoon you will ride camels into the dunes.Your accommodation will be in Berber tents. After relaxing and enjoying a beautiful sunset you will enjoy a fantastic dinner and have the opportunity to listen to authentic Berber music.

Day 6: Once awoken you will enjoy a fresh breakfast after which you will be shown your camels. 

Once mounted you will be able to sit back and enjoy the stunning sunrise. Once you have left your camels at the Auberge there it will be a long day driving to Ait Ben Haddou. Ait Benhaddou is a small town with one of the best-preserved and most sought-after Kasbah's to visit in all of Morocco. You will stay inside of the Kasbah where you will spend a relaxing evening.

Day 7: Drive back to Marrakech, again via Tichka pass. You will arrive in Marrakech early in the afternoon.
